Reading Academy Results
In an independent evaluation of New York State Reading Academy participants by MAGI Educational Services, Inc., the majority of teachers and administrators gave a rating of "good" or "excellent" to the information provided online. Specifically, about 8 out of 10 teachers and administrators indicated that the information was relevant to reading research and provided an understanding of the theory and rationale for the instruction. The chart below summarizes additional benefits teachers gained from their participation in the program.
