How it Works | Online Tutorials | Group Learning | Classroom Practice
Group Learning Component
Learning groups are formed at the school level. Each building coach leads teachers in discussions of online content and
classroom experiences. These meetings typically occur three times per module for a total of three hours. During these
sessions, teachers:
- Learn about and practice DIBELS-equivalent measures, including administration and scoring
- Discuss and build understanding of online content
- Practice classroom application exercises
- Analyze school's current reading curriculum
- Share insights and receive ongoing feedback
Flexible Use
Each group determines its own meeting schedule, and coaches are provided with all supporting materials, including meeting
agendas, handouts and discussion guides. These group sessions are a time when skills are discussed and developed, best
practices are explored and important questions get answered.
