The Learning Modules
There are nine learning modules in the Reading Academy. The first and last modules are five hours each. Modules 2-8 require approximately ten hours each:

• Three hours of self-paced, online learning
• Three hours in study group interaction and discussion
• Four hours in offline planning related to learning activities with the teacher's own students

Each of the content modules defines a sequence of skills, reviews the evidence from research, describes proven strategies for monitoring reading skills, suggests implications for classroom instruction, and addresses frequently asked questions.
